Day 01 – Arrive in Kathmandu
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Transfer to the hotel and relax after your journey. You can explore local markets and shops for gear or souvenirs. Evening orientation session about the trek.
Overnight: Kathmandu
Altitude: 1,400 m
Day 02 – Fly to Lukla – Trek to Phakding
Scenic flight to Lukla (2,860 m), then trek through forests to Phakding.
Walk: 3–4 hrs
Altitude: 2,650 m
Gain: +190 m
Overnight: Phakding
Day 03 – Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Trek along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing bridges and passing Monjo. Enter Sagarmatha National Park.
Walk: 6–8 hrs
Altitude: 3,440 m
Gain: +790 m
Overnight: Namche
Day 04 – Acclimatization in Namche – Hike to Khumjung
Acclimatization hike to Khumjung for mountain views and local monastery visit. Return to Namche.
Altitude: 3,970 m (temporary)
Overnight: Namche
Day 05 – Trek from Namche to Tengboche
Descend to Phunki Thenga, then ascend through forest to Tengboche Monastery.
Walk: 5–6 hrs
Altitude: 3,840 m
Loss/Gain: -200 m / +600 m
Overnight: Tengboche
Day 06 – Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche
Cross the Imja Khola and hike past Pangboche and Somare.
Walk: 5–7 hrs
Altitude: 4,410 m
Gain: +570 m
Overnight: Dingboche
Day 07 – Acclimatization in Dingboche – Hike to Nagarjun/Nangkartshang
Steep hike for panoramic views of Makalu and Lhotse. Return to Dingboche.
Walk: 4–5 hrs
Altitude: 5,090 m (temporary)
Overnight: Dingboche
Day 08 – Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche
Climb past Thukla Pass with climber memorials to reach Lobuche.
Walk: 5–7 hrs
Altitude: 4,910 m
Gain: +500 m
Overnight: Lobuche
Day 09 – Trek to Everest Base Camp and return to Gorakshep
Trek to Base Camp (5,364 m) via Gorakshep and return. Trail crosses glacier moraines.
Walk: 6–8 hrs
Overnight: Gorakshep
Note: Drinking water at Gorakshep is chargeable. Carry water tablets or buy bottled water ($1–3).
Day 10 – Climb Kalapathar – Trek down to Pheriche
Pre-dawn hike to Kalapathar (5,545 m) for sunrise view of Everest, then descend to Pheriche.
Walk: 6–7 hrs
Gain: +400 m then descend ~1,300 m
Overnight: Pheriche
Day 11 – Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar
Retrace trail down through Tengboche and Phunki Thenga to Namche.
Walk: 6–8 hrs
Altitude Loss: ~1,200 m
Overnight: Namche
Day 12 – Trek from Namche to Lukla
Final trek day through Monjo and suspension bridges back to Lukla.
Walk: 6–8 hrs
Altitude Loss: ~600 m
Overnight: Lukla
Day 13 – Fly back to Kathmandu
Early flight to Kathmandu. Rest or explore local sights and shops.
Overnight: Kathmandu
Day 14 – Buffer Day in Kathmandu
Spare day for flight delays. Rest, shop, or visit cultural sites.
Overnight: Kathmandu
Day 15 – Final Departure
Transfer to airport for your return journey. Our staff will assist.
