This is one of the world’s best-known hikes and will reward those willing to break a sweat with a stunning combination of mountainscapes, cloud forests, and jungles.


Day 1: Delhi – Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
Arrive at Delhi Airport by 11:00 AM. From here, travel to Bharatpur in an AC chartered vehicle – the journey takes approximately 4.5 to 5 hours (220 km). Upon arrival, check in and rest. In the evening, gather for a brief orientation and fun ice-breaking session to get to know your fellow travellers. Enjoy dinner and wind down for the night.

Day 2: Morning and Evening Guided Birding Trails at Bharatpur
Wake up early and head out for a morning birding trail in the famous Keoladeo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This man-made wetland is home to over 370 species of birds.
Spot resident and migratory birds like the Sarus Crane, Painted Stork, Indian Darter, Purple Heron, Kingfishers, Owls, Jacanas, and more. In winter, rare visitors like Siberian Rubythroat, Greater Flamingos, and Eurasian Spoonbills may be seen.
Wildlife sightings may include deer, blue bull (nilgai), monitor lizards, and pythons.
After lunch and rest, head out again in the evening to explore more zones of the park. Post-dinner, enjoy a group discussion session.

Day 3: Visit Fatehpur Sikri & Evening Trail at Bharatpur
After breakfast, take a short drive (45 mins) to Fatehpur Sikri – a 16th-century Mughal capital and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Highlights include Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Diwan-i-Khas, Panch Mahal, and Tomb of Salim Chishti.
Return to Bharatpur by afternoon. After rest, head for an evening trail in a new section of the sanctuary for more birdwatching and wildlife exploration.

Day 4: Agra – Taj Mahal – Delhi
After breakfast, drive to Agra (approx. 1.5 hours) to visit the magnificent Taj Mahal – a symbol of love and one of the most iconic monuments in the world.
Post-visit, proceed to Delhi Airport (approx. 3.5–4 hours drive).
Note: Book a late-night flight, such as IndiGo at 23:50 hrs, to allow enough buffer time.
